MySpace Launching Comedy Section
18 July 2006 (StudioBriefing)
As part of a plan to attract advertisers who ordinarily shy away from the anything-goes atmosphere of social-networking websites, MySpace.com is launching a comedy section that will feature webcasts from the national chain of Improv comedy clubs. The primary sponsor will be Pepsi-Cola North America's Sierra Mist brand. MySpace had previously launched sections devoted to movies, music and books. Several individual comedians have become virtual celebrities on MySpace, including Dane Cook who reportedly has amassed 1.34 million "friends" who view his routines on the site.

Teen choice Awards

Hello, Just a little interesting fact.... Dane won a Teen Choice Award for "Choice Comedian" category, in 2007. This just goes to show that his audience ranges from teens on up... Not sure if some of his material is fit for younger audiences but it is definitely better than most comedians. Good job Dane :)

Mr. Brooks

Hi guys, I want to tell you about Mr. Brooks. Dane Cook definitely plays a character that we have never seen him play. He plays crazy like no other, and is still funny, even though he plays a wannabe hit-man. Definitely worth seeing, just to see this new side of Dane.
